I love to blog. It is here that I am free of all rules and fears. I don't have to think about what it is that my professor wishes to read. I don't have to think about the laws that ivory tower scholars have set in place. I don't even have to think about whether to use affect or effect because in the blogsphere, there is a willing suspension of such expectations.
This is where true creativity can live.
This is not a cry against rules. This is not a post against proper grammar. This is not a piece throwing stones at the ivory tower. This is a reminder that there are still avenues where creativity can exist! A blog is one of them!
Over the past week, I have been spending a major amount of time working on a literary analysis. Hours was spent slaving over a book and endless check sheets to make sure that the paper is what it is supposed to be. After completing such a paper, I was reminded how much I enjoy writing. I also realized that I have an outlet to do that, and for it, I am very grateful.
I think that anyone who has to write papers should have a blog. Because
This is where creativity can live.
